Thanks to everyone who came out to the Muskegon Summer Celebration Battle of the Bands to support us, we TRULY appreciate it. You all were great. Not the out come we wanted but we'll take second place. We had a great time! We'll get em next year! Thanks again!

Alright BW Thunder Fans, now is the time to mark your calenders for May 15th in Muskegon, for the Muskegon Summer Celebration Battle of the Bands! We will be hittin' the stage at the LC Walker Arena @ 8:45PM. Come out and make some serious noise in helping us win the Battle of the Bands with a chance to open up for Jason Aldean and Jamey Johnson at the Muskegon Summer Celebration June 29th! Tell everyone you know to be there!!!

Finally, We are back! We are happy to introduce the 2 newest members of Backwoods Thunder. Jeff Sayers on lead guitar and Chad Flores on bass. We are working hard on new material and getting ready to bring Hard Rockin' Country back to West Michigan. We can't wait to hit the stage and see all of you again!

We will be saying so long to Phil DeBrot and Chad Flanery on Sept. 13. Its been a long haul and a great time performing with them! They will definitely be missed. We (Blair and Jeff) will be carrying on Backwoods Thunder. Stay tuned!

On Friday, April 11, 2008, we performed for the WKCQ Rising Star Competition at the Westown in Bay City, Michigan. There were four terrific bands competing for the chance to perform with Joe Nichols & Tracy Lawrence wsg/ Jennifer Hanson at the KCQ Country Music Fest FREE Concert on mid Michigan's Ojibway Island. We'd like to thank everyone at The Westown (Smitty 69, Stone Cold Band and Mandi Lane & The Lost Highway) You all ROCK! And thanks to all the fans who came out and supported all of us! We are so greatful to be chosen as the winners of the KCQ Rising Star Competition.
We had a great time!!! Thanks again!

           

        

We've been distributing our demo to the Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo areas, we are looking forward to working in those areas and broadening our fanbase.
